Writing practice is a way to practice mindfulness, noticing with compassionate awareness the moments of your life as they unfold.
This is a way to come alive in your body, mind and spirit.
This workshop will allow writers to awaken in their bodies and tap into creative energy that they may not have known existed. It will allow yoga practitioners to experience what can happen in their lives when they channel the invigorating and relaxing feeling of yoga into creativity and self-reflection.
You need not have any experience in yoga or writing to attend this workshop. Workshop will include two yoga practices — one active and one restorative — and three writing sessions, time to reflect and share.

THE LIVE WIRE WRITING WORKSHOP
Storytelling with Emotional Voltage

Powerful writing comes from those deep places inside us. This workshop helps you find the “live wire” in your writing. By learning to detect it in your own writing practice, you can get to the heart of the story. This workshop helps you find the emotional truth in your writing and unleash the courage to go there. You will leave with a firm grounding in how to write with urgency and clarity.
